Overwatch Energy was designed from the ground up in 2019 to be an operations specialist to support the energy transition.  We have over 100 years of combined experience and expertise in the NEM – it is our place of work.

Our experienced leadership team

James TetlowChief Executive Officer
James has more than 20 years’ experience working on behalf of owners to deliver large and complex project financed assets. His range of expertise spans pre-close, design and construction, commissioning and steady-state operations including many ‘behind the meter’ energy and controls system projects and forays into waste to energy. In 2019 he co-founded Overwatch Energy.
Ellise JanetzkiOperations Manager
Ellise has more than 10 years experience in the Australian energy markets. Ellise joined Overwatch in March 2022 and leads day to day operations and the interface with our clients. Before joining Overwatch Ellise spent 7 years with the Australian Energy Market Operator, starting in retail and wholesale market operations, then as an engineer and then on to lead the team in Operational Forecasting.
Jonathon DysonDirector / Consultant
Jonathon has over 20 years’ experience in the Australian electricity market, starting as manager of spot market operations at Loy Yang A power station. He then progressed to be a generation specialist for AGL and then manager of operations strategy for AGLs 500+ generation assets totalling more than 10GW. In 2015 he created Greenview Strategic Consulting (which was purchased by Azzo in 2025) and in 2019 co-founded Overwatch Energy. Jonathon is part time to Overwatch and leads any detailed consulting work.
